👏 Congrats to our Rough Riders who go above and beyond every day — showing respect, responsibility, and resilience!

Roosevelt staff demonstrated Servant Leadership by teaming up with Active Generations Rake the Town event! A city-wide raking event dedicated to helping seniors and individuals with disabilities in our community. This initiative is designed to support those aged 60 and above who may not have family or assistance nearby to help with yard work. Way to make Roosevelt proud!♥️🍂

🌿 Club Spotlight: Greenhouse Club! 🌿

Led by Mr. Mitchell, the Greenhouse Club is where students learn to care for, identify, and propagate plants. 🌱 They even collaborate with Art Club and Pottery Club to create and decorate unique plant pots!

Their mission? To make the Roosevelt greenhouse a standout feature that brings life and greenery to our halls — and to inspire a love for plant care. 💚

This year, Roosevelt will be highlighting all the amazing clubs that make our school community so special! We’ll be posting multiple times a week to showcase the incredible opportunities available to our students.

First up — the Indigenous Student Union (ISU)! 🪶
ISU meets Monday, Wednesday, and Friday alongside the RHS Drum Group. Together, they plan, organize, and lead events that celebrate and support Native American students and culture — including tutoring, cultural outreach, Native American Day, Heritage Month, the Native American Parade, and RHS school events.

We’re proud to recognize ISU for all they do to keep culture, community, and connection strong here at Roosevelt! ❤️💛🖤🤍

Big thanks to our local Scheels Gives Back Program for their generous donation to Roosevelt's JAG (Jobs for America's Graduates) program! Your supports helps our students grow, learn, and reach new goals every day.
